- 1 large glass
Ingredients
1 serving
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, or water
- 1 scoop protein powder, whey or plant, about 25 g protein
- ¾ cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 cup spinach, loosely packed
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- ½ cup ice
Method
- Pour the almond milk into the blender first so the blades move freely.
- Add the protein powder, frozen berries, spinach, chia seeds and ice.
- Blend on high for 45 to 60 seconds, until smooth and no flecks of spinach are left. Add a splash of water if it's too thick to pour.
- Drink it right away, or let it sit 5 minutes if you like it thicker, since the chia keeps soaking.
Food safety and storage
- Drink it within an hour, or keep it covered in the fridge and drink it the same day.
